Our Enrichment Programme

We have an excellent enrichment programme. We nurture individual talents and encourage all our pupils to try out new and exciting experiences.

Our pupils have the opportunity to perform on stages such as Shakespeare’s Globe and the Young Vic and we work regularly with other world-leading organisations such as Tate Modern, Corelli Dance and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Our curriculum is full of school based events. These increase pupil enjoyment at Spa and extend their learning beyond the regular timetable.

We are incredibly proud of our enrichment offer at Spa Bermondsey. We work hard to ensure all of our pupils are able to access a range of high quality activities both in and out of school.

We have regular enrichment days that include:

  • Ranger Stu and his animals
  • Circus Sensible Workshops
  • The Jamb Owl experience

We celebrate World Book Day each year with a day of reading (and some dressing up too) and mark Comic Relief by wearing a theme colour each year.  

We have Living Eggs come and stay with us for 2 weeks each year and get to watch the eggs hatch into very fluffy chicks. 

We have partnered with the Old Vic and our Theatre Options Group have had workshops and have been to several matinees, developing their understanding and love of theatre.
